Light Media Communications Ltd in conjunction with CBS (The Confederation of British Surgery) respects the privacy of everyone who we have direct contact with, whether a potential customer, current customer, or past customer. This policy is intended to protect you and your data. It explains what data we collect about you, what we will do with that data, how long we will keep that data, and how you can contact us to update data or request data about you be removed from our databases.

CBS is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) thereby ensuring that when collecting personal information, we tell people how we will use it, we have a process in place so we can respond to requests for the personal information we hold, we keep records of people's personal information up to date and don't keep it any longer than necessary and finally we have measures in place to keep the personal data we hold safe and secure. Potential members can therefore be reassured that their data is safe with CBS.

You can contact us through our website by choosing to complete our ‘Contact Us’ page. When doing this, you have the option to opt-in to receive marketing information from us. If you choose this option, you will be added to our marketing database and you will receive marketing information from us by email, phone, and/or text message. If you no longer wish to receive marketing information from us, you can at any point opt-out by choosing the ‘unsubscribe’ option found in our marketing emails. The information collected from our Contact Us page will be stored by us for as long as necessary to deal with your enquiry, or for a maximum period of 5 years. You can request that we remove this data sooner than this by contacting us.
